About your accommodation

Beautiful, HIGH-QUALITY PERIOD PROPERTY with lots of original features, sympathetically decorated and furnished. The apartment has 1 main bedroom and an occasional second bedroom.

The light, spacious lounge has a dining area in the bay window overlooking the garden and with a glimpse of the sea and view of Oliver's Mount. It has an open fire (in addition to central heating), plenty of comfortable seating and TV/DVD.

The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a dining table as an alternative to the one in the lounge.

The large bedroom has a king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and lamps, ottoman and chair. The second bedroom has a 3-foot single bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail and bedside lamps. This room is situated off the lounge but has separate access to the bathroom and kitchen.

The bathroom has a bath, wc, washbasin and separate shower cubicle.

Also you have sole use of the rear gated, secure, enclosed yard off the kitchen (see below).


The apartment benefits from a lovely south-facing, sheltered front garden with outdoor seating. You also have a really useful enclosed paved rear yard. The yard is a perfect place for a BBQ, safe for children or pets and very practical for cleaning off and storing beach gear - (beach chairs, body boards and windbreak are provided).

The South Cliff is regarded as the quieter side of Scarborough and is an area characterised by grand Victorian architecture, attractive wide avenues and glorious Award-Winning Public Gardens

Perfectly situated to make the most of all Scarborough has to offer.

Close to The Esplanade with its glorious sea views, award-winning Belvedere, Rose & Italian Gardens and the Holbeck Clock Tower area - (location for filming of The Royal).

Just a few minutes' walk to the Cliff Lift which gives easy access to the beach & Spa Complex... no need to take the car.

Alternatively stroll along meandering paths through the cliffside gardens down to the sea - perfect for dog walking.

Shops and Cafes are 5 minutes' easy walk away on Ramshill Road as well as bars, restaurants and hotels of South Cliff.

Scarborough Town Centre is reached in a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk, or by the regular bus service.

Great for surfers .. head down to the South Bay or straight out on the Coast Road south to Cayton Bay.

Only children of 6 and over (at the time of the holiday) are allowed. There is no cot or high chair available.

ACCESS: For those with mobility difficulties.... although the interior accommodation is set out over 1 floor there is 1 step up to the front door and access to the back door is through a gate and up 6 steps.
