Overview & description
Lakeside Conference Centre includes Sand Hutton Suite which holds up to 250 delegates in raked theatre style seating. The room has a partition that can be closed to make a smaller room for under 100 delegates. Claxton and Kirkham meeting rooms hold up to 50 delegates in each room. All rooms are flexible and can accommodate tables in a range of set-up styles. All rooms have a built in pc, projector and screen.
Our mezzanine and atrium areas can hold up-to 20 exhibition stands and also catering. We offer a range of catering options in our hospitality brochure and take special requests. All food is locally sourced and prepared by our on-site catering team.
IT support is offered by our on-site IT technicians to set-up each conference and be on call throughout your event.
Our Conference Centre Manager can also help with sourcing hotel accommodation, transport and making dinner reservations.
We are lucky to be set-in 80 acres of parkland and have plenty of land where outdoor activities can be held. Delegates can also sit outside and walk around our lake in their break times.
Delegates are able to leave their cars in our secure car park. We have full disabled access including parking bays and loop hearing.
In April 2015 we refurbished our atrium and mezzanine areas. After being open for nearly 20 years it was time for an up-grade and we wanted to provide a more open site for visitors. We installed new bathrooms in the atrium and mezzanine, painted both areas, installed new lighting, carpets, furniture and coffee machines. We also moved reception from the Gate House into the atrium and moved our security fences and barriers. The new mezzanine and atrium furniture creates an ideal hub for meeting space.
