Middlethorpe Hall & Spa is a magnificent William lll country house which is now owned by the National Trust, we are very proud that all of the profits are given to the charity.
The property comprises of a 29 bedroomed luxury hotel, panelled dining rooms and a health and beauty spa in a delightful cottage opposite the main house.
Middlethorpe Hall stands in 20 acres of gardens and parkland yet is only two miles, five minutes by car, from York’s city centre.
The bedrooms and suites are in both the main house and the 18th Century Classical Courtyard, each furnished with fine antiques and luxuriously comfortable beds.
Head Chef Ashley Binder's superb cuisine at has won many accolades over the years, and continues to attract connoisseurs of fine food and wine to Middlethorpe Hall. Afternoon Tea is an occasion to relish at Middlethorpe Hall, each afternoon this English ceremony takes place in one of the grand public rooms of the historic hall or on warm, sunny days on the terrace overlooking the manicured lawns.
Middlethorpe Spa is a true delight. Hotel guests and Spa members have access to all of the Spa’s facilities including a swimming pool, spa bath, sauna, steam room and gym. There are three health and beauty rooms offering a host of therapies and treatments to all.
