
Friends of Sandall Park are a group of like-minded people dedicated to the improvement of the park for the benefit of its human visitors, birds and resident wildlife. The group is primarily made up of volunteers who work alongside professionals from various agencies committed to regenerating the park. They are enthusiastic, forward thinking and will continue to develop the park in a way that reflects what the visitors want.

Sandall Park is an important and unique resource for the people of Doncaster as a whole, and the local community in particular. It is a vital green lung of the community which the FoSP continue to develop for the benefit of all.
The FoSP received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (an MBE for Voluntary Groups); the Duke of York Community Initiative and have recently, working with Doncaster MBC, achieved Green Flag status for the park.

Sandall Park has a beer named after it (a red beer to reflect the history of the clay works in the park) brewed by Donny Brewery. The brewery - https://doncasterbrewery.co.uk/brewery-tap - has collected produce from the park to create future beverages, including the unique red apples.
