Dean Clough is a 22 acre site, over half a mile long, on the edge of Halifax town centre. It’s a thriving community which combines office space, a hotel, leisure facilities, the arts, shopping and restaurants. Once home to the world’s largest carpet factory, Dean Clough is now home to over 150 businesses, which employ 4000 people.

For visitors who are interested in art and culture the site includes six galleries and one of the country's largest private collections. There is the Viaduct Theatre & theatre companies; Northern Broadsides and IOU Theatre, are based on site.

For those visitors who are interested in food & drink then there are restaurants, cafes, Stodfold Brewery’s flagship bar & even a roastery which roasts fresh coffee on site. If you prefer pampering yourself and keeping fit then there are 2 gyms, hairdressers, a barbers & beauticians.

In addition there is a Jack Wills Designer Outlet, the Design Shop, Travelodge Hotel & the Arches event space which can seat up to 300 people.

Visitors are welcome seven days a week and the public mills are open from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Parking charges apply during the week but not at weekends and the site is otherwise 'free entry'.
