Hawes National Park Centre is housed in the Dales Countryside Museum.
The National Park Centre is a great starting point for anyone wanting to make the most of this beautiful area. There are interesting displays about the area, guide books and leaflets and of course, friendly staff to help you enjoy the National Park in just the way you want.

There is a large pay and display car park and free parking for coaches.
The Firebox Café is situated within the National Park Centre, a contemporary coffee shop with high quality light refreshments made where possible from ingredients sourced from local supplies based in the Yorkshire Dales. It is a perfect place to refuel and recharge. In addition, the café is a part of Stage 1 Cycles where there is a cycle hire, a workshop on site and cycle equipment shop.
Opening hours
1 February to 31 October we are open daily from 10am to 5pm
1 November to 31 December we are open daily from 10am to 4:30pm (closed Christmas Eve to Boxing Day and all of January)
