Pennine Heritage

Pennine Heritage was launched in 1979 as a registered charity to promote awareness of the special heritage and cultural value of the South Pennines. To this end they have produced a series of publications about the area, and a series of E-trails. These trails are downloadable audio/visual guides featuring interesting information on the history, geology and natural history of the area.

The guides are also available on the Pennine Heritage website at . Pennine Heritage is based at the Birchcliffe Centre in Hebden Bridge, which is also home to the Pennine Horizons Digital Archive.
