North Yorkshire Water Park – Create unforgettable adventures and experience the thrills of watersports at North Yorkshire Water Park!

North Yorkshire Water Park is nestled amongst mature woodland in Wykeham, near Scarborough, and is home to one of the largest natural watersport lakes in North Yorkshire. Our 35 hectares leisure lake offers a variety of fun filled activities including Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Open Water Swimming, and Pedalos.

Whether you are looking to develop your watersport skills, challenge yourself to learn something new, or simply want to take in the beautiful lakeside and surrounding countryside views, there’s an activity to suit everyone!

Our onsite café is available for takeaway with hot and cold drinks and cold snacks.

Enjoy a peaceful jog, cycle, or dog walk along our 2.5km all-terrain gravelled track boasting picturesque lakeside views. Dogs are welcome – make sure to keep them on a lead so wildlife and nesting birds aren’t disturbed.

The Water Park has three well stocked lakes, with specialist trout, predator and coarse lakes to choose from, within a short walk of the leisure lake. Find out more about fishing here

Health & Safety

Following social distancing guidelines, the Water Park reopened in June with health and safety measures in place. The Water Park is operating a one way system on land and hand sanitiser is readily available. Changing rooms and showers are temporarily closed and there are limited toilets.

Inflatable AquaPark

Providing customers with the best experience and keeping everyone safe is always at the forefront of our minds. After great deliberation we have decided to keep our inflatable AquaPark closed for the 2020 season. This is due to social distancing and health & safety guidelines significantly impacting the customer experience.
