Founded in 2015 with the express intent of being ‘Where Live Industry Lives’, Production Park is now home to more than 20 live events businesses, 2 studios and a dynamic and creative cohort of over 200 students. It is an international destination of choice for technically challenging live productions and the only place on earth where that pioneering work is continually fed back into the educational ecosystem that will sustain our unique industry into the future.
A family run concern, Production Park's roots start in 1979 with founder Adrian Brooks, who began manufacturing aluminium scaffold towers. He soon recognised a market for a high performance modular trussing system and in 1981 launched Litestructures Astralite, the world’s first lightweight aluminium trussing system. Astralite soon became the industry standard and is still in use all around the world.
Today this has developed and forms part of the businesses based on Production Park, the number one live events production destination in Europe and home to the UK’s only Live Events Production University Centre, Backstage Academy. Together they share their location with other long-established engineering, technology and creative specialist businesses.
In recent times, Production Park Studio 001 has welcomed the likes of Depeche Mode, The XX, Coldplay, System of a Down and Little Mix who made use of the arena-sized on-site rehearsal facilities, while The Mill (our London studio) has supplied band rehearsal facilities and backline to musical giants such as Metallica and Ed Sheeran. Brilliant Stages has provided high-end creative stage and set solutions for concert touring artists such as Muse, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Coldplay, Take That and Robbie Williams as well as international artists such as German superstar, Helene Fischer. Brilliant's wider client list includes Renault Formula 1, Virgin Racing, Red Bull/Toro Rosso, Itsu, Sony and Fiat Chrysler.
