Spicing up Goodramgate since 2004, Rafi’s Spicebox is a family-run business on a mission to change people's perception of Indian Food. Our shop in York has been inspiring the locals and visitors to cook amazing Indian food at home for over 13 years.

Now with 4 shops around the country, we’ve developed a loyal following by creating an extensive menu of curry mixes. These mixes are handmade in store, in front of your eyes, to your exact requirements. The packs come complete with instructions for you to then take home and cook up a traditional Indian meal for your family and friends. We also have an extensive range of naan breads, kitchenware, pickles and chutneys, gifts and world foods.

Set up by Indian cookery author and teacher Rafi Fernandez, our curry packs include seasonal, regional and family favourite recipes  tailored to each individual customer. The company is now run by Rafi’s two sons. Together, with a team of passionate food enthusiasts, we ensure that each visit to a Spicebox shop is completely unique.  We strive to provide you with the confidence to start using spices in your own kitchen.
