Thirsk Hall Sculpture Park

Museum/Heritage/Gallery/Visitor Centre, Music & Theatre, Arts Venue

Description

Thirsk Hall is situated right in the centre of the market town Thirsk; and for the first time in 300 years, it is opening its gardens and parkland as part of the Sculpture Park to the public from May – September each year.

Thirsk Hall is also an events venue that hosts the Thirsk Hall Festival (first time in September 2021), a 3-day festival of great music, stories, and events, with the community at the heart. The owners of Thirsk Hall, have joined forces with critically acclaimed composer and conductor Benjamin Ellin to curate a weekend of musical entertainment on 3-5 September 2021. As part of Thirsk Hall’s ongoing ambition to make Thirsk the cultural capital of the North, the festival will celebrate the creativity of those within the region.
