Thirsk Hall is situated right in the centre of the market town Thirsk. In 2021, it opened its gardens and parkland to the public, for the first time in 300 years, with Thirsk Hall Sculpture Park. The Sculpture Park & Gardens are re-opening to the public all year round from May 2022.
In 2022 we're excited to be opening our dynamic new indoor gallery space - paving the way to hold exciting new exhibitions, workshops, art classes, and further our educational program. Well behaved dogs and picnics are welcome.
Thirsk Hall, the Grade II* listed Georgian family home, also has a self contained, self-catered two-bedroom flat (sleeping up to 4 guests) available for short term stays if you’d like to extend your trip to Thirsk.
In 2022, Thirsk Hall Glamping Site is due to open.
Thirsk Hall is also an events venue that hosts the Thirsk Hall Festival, a 3-day festival of great music, stories and events, with the community at the heart.
The owners of Thirsk Hall have joined forces with critically acclaimed composer and conductor Benjamin Ellin to curate an annual weekend of musical entertainment. As part of Thirsk Hall’s ongoing ambition to make Thirsk the cultural capital of the North, the festival celebrates the creativity of those within the region.
