See what creatures you can spot in the rockpool tank - crabs, blennies, winkles, sea anemones, prawns and other creatures, all found in the rock pools just outside the centre.  Learn about life on the North Yorkshire coast from dinosaurs to the present day, find out how the National Trust looks after the coast and countryside in this area.

Local artists often exhibit their work in the first-floor gallery space.
