The warden at Bempton Cliffs knows our reserve like the back of his hand. In charge of the Seabird Monitoring Programme; he can tell you everything there is to know about the research we do here and why it's so important for seabird conservation. You'll also learn all about the habitat management and bird ringing at the site - conservation doesn't just happen and you'll find out what it takes to look after the wide array of wildlife here at the reserve. This event includes a 3 mile walk around the reserve on a mixture of bonded and grassy paths.
The cliff tops can be chilly at any time of year so please bring appropriate clothing and shoes. Target bird species on this walk: gannet, puffin, kittiwake, guillemot, razorbill, fulmar, tree sparrow, barn owl, skylark, corn bunting.
