Description
To celebrate both the 50th anniversary of the Royal Northern College of Music and the 10th anniversary of the Opera North’s brass placement scheme there, we combine forces for a concert of brass ensemble music.
The scheme provides opportunities for students to play alongside and within the brass section of the Orchestra of Opera North, both in rehearsals and opera performances, and many have gone on to be freelance players with the ensemble.
This latest cohort of players have the added opportunity of performing in Dewsbury in what is sure to be a rousing final concert of the season.
Competitively priced pre-concert light lunches are available from 11.30am in the Main Hall.
