In celebration of Prince Harry marrying American actress Meghan Markle in a ceremony at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in a service that begins at midday, the centre will be showing the royal wedding on a big screen and two Disney princesses will be in attendance to meet visitors.
David Aunins, centre manager at Lakeside Village said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers who want to enjoy watching the royal wedding in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
“Our big screen is returning for this right royal occasion and we are encouraging our younger customers to come along dressed in their best prince and princess outfits.”
Shoppers will also be able to enjoy a glass of rose or frosé to toast the royal wedding in style served from a special bar van sampling Blossom Hill’s new pale rosé wine and frosé, which will be made using a slushie machine.
After the Royal Wedding the centre will be showing the Princess Diaries, starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.
“Our film screenings were a real hit with our customers last summer and we are pleased to be bringing these back for 2018. The Princess Diaries will be a way to follow the royal wedding and we are sure that lots of customers with children will want to stay and watch this.
“All we need now is the sunshine!” added David.
