Flavours Food Festival is making a welcome return this year.
Due to the success of last year’s event the festival has been extended to two days, offering a weekend packed full of foodie fun.
TV celebrity baker and chef, Nadiya Hussain, will be appearing on Sunday, the ‘Great British Bake Off’ champion will be cooking up a storm at her live cookery demonstrations. At the performances which last approximately forty five minutes, she will create a selection of her very own recipes which people can recreate at home. Since winning, Nadiya has become a columnist and author as well as a regular reporter and presenter. Nadiya is also about to present her own cookery show, Nadiya's British Food Adventurewhich will air from 17 July on BBC 2 and will also co-present a major new show, The Big Family Cooking Showdown later this year.
During the festival we will become a bustling food and drinks market, offering a wide variety of tasty treats and delicious beverages. There will be over 60 stalls where local and national food producers will be displaying high quality produce as well as a selection of street food and live entertainment. Come along and browse, sample and buy the tempting treats on offer.
