Fawn is the project of transatlantic singer-songwriter Ilana Zsigmond. Born in England to musical parents, Ilana spent her childhood in New Haven, Connecticut, bouncing back and forth between continents as her parents toured. In 2015 she settled in York and formed a band that reflects the Americana aesthetic of her childhood, with the articulation and dry-wit of Britain.
Along with her band, she’s become a staple of the York music scene and gets regular airplay through BBC Introducing thanks to her poetic songwriting.
