Our ever-popular Dickensian Christmas Festival is taking place again over the first two weekends in December and will be bigger and better than ever!
Having run for over 35 years, this Christmas Festival, with a
Victorian flair, has something unique and special – worth visiting at this magical time of year as it offers a little twist of the Oliver kind!
The village of Grassington goes back in time and is transformed
into a bygone era with full Victorian dress, and the festive glow of
open braziers around its cobbled streets.
There is a full outdoor entertainment programme over both
weekends throughout the entire village with bands, choirs, dancers, magicians, story-tellers, street theatre, Punch and Judy, Santa in his hideaway grotto, Victorian entertainment, as well as buskers, shoe-shine boys, pick-pockets and chestnut sellers.
Grassington’s unique shops and Christmas Market with quaint
street traders will offer the chance to do all your Christmas
shopping in one go.
When you have worked up an appetite, you will be spoilt for choice with the hearty homemade food served a-plenty by the pubs, cafes, hotels and street food sellers.
So come along and join in a fabulous family day out in Yorkshire.
Even Scrooge couldn’t fail to be impressed!
Grassington Dickensian Festival operates a Park and Ride
throughout the day on both weekends. The park and ride is £10.00 per car (not per person).
The park and ride is well sign posted from all main routes. Postcode BD23 5NX
