On Saturday 7th March 2020, Opera North are performing a Whistle Stop Version of The Marriage of Figaro at The Viaduct Theatre at 7.30pm. The performance lasts approximately 45 mins and is a great opportunity to experience a taste into the wonderful world of Opera.

Figaro and Susanna are getting married, but trouble clouds the horizon. The lecherous Count Almaviva is out to bed the bride, the lovesick pageboy Cherubino keeps landing himself in hot-water and, to top it all off, if Figaro cannot repay his debt to Marcellina the housekeeper, he’ll have to marry her instead!
