A new adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s Mowgli stories that takes you deep into the magical heart of the jungle. Learning the jungle law with Baloo the brown bear and Bagheera the black panther, Mowgli finally grows strong and brave enough to challenge his stripy enemy, Shere Khan. High energy family theatre, packed with adventure, comedy, puppetry and original music.
Rudyard Kipling’s much-loved animal characters come to life, including Akela the wise old wolf, Kaa the hypnotic snake and a trio of pesky monkeys.
Jellyfish theatre is a touring theatre company for young audiences, founded in Italy in 2005 and now based in south London. The company work in theatres and schools in the UK and also travel abroad with shows developed especially for young audiences learning English.
Artistic director and founder, Sarah Simpson is a writer, director and teacher. She adapts classic stories and creates original work for young audiences.
Composer Noah Tucker is also a musician playing drums, clarinet and keyboards. He has written music for Jellyfish since 2010.
Sarah Simpson also makes the sets and costumes for Jellyfish theatre. She has a strong interest in recycling and repurposing fabrics and can find another use for just about anything. Her children say that nothing in the house is safe.
