Do you have some spare time on your hands? Want to meet new people? Hoping to learn new skills or put old skills to good use?
Then, try your hand at volunteering and join the Friends of Kirklees Light Railway!
Join us for our Volunteer Recruitment Weekend on 3rd & 4th March 2018 and meet some of our volunteers whilst having a go at some typical volunteer tasks.
The Volunteer Recruitment Days will run 10am-4pm and you don't have to attend both days, nor do you have to stay for the duration - a morning or afternoon will suffice!
There is no charge to attend the Volunteer Recruitment Weekend or become a volunteer, however all attendees must be aged 16 years or over and in good physical and mental health.
Volunteering may not be suitable for those with some disabilities, particularly where these affect mobility, concentration, dexterity and co-ordination. If you believe this may be a factor, please contact the office before the event to ensure the activity is suitable and to avoid any embarrassment on the day.
To register your interest or for more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office on 01484 865727.
