Inspired by the rural landscapes of North Yorkshire, printmaker Andrew Dalton presents a series of new prints in Abstract Reflections. Since 2019, Andrew has created works which explore his own interactions with landscape, printmaking and water.
Here, he draws on familiar landscapes of the region to capture the drama and emotional resonance of these special places, often rendering them in black and white. Moving away from a purely physical representation of the land, Andrew’s reflections on the landscapes of the North York Moors and further afield are infused with his unique vision of a place.
Open Saturday to Thursday, 10am – 5pm. Closed on Fridays.
There is no charge to visit this exhibition in the art gallery. It is not in the paid area of the Museum.
