Please check websites of all organisations or businesses before you visit. With the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, many businesses are changing their opening hours.
We're getting inspired by our latest exhibition in the Art Gallery - Geoffrey Willey: A Life Through the Lens - exploring the fascinating life and long career of the Yorkshire-born photographer.
We are so fortunate that when Ryedale Folk Museum was first developing in the 1960s, Geoffrey was there with his trusty camera to document and photograph. Now you can join in our photography competition, inspired by Geoffrey's determination to find the perfect angle or shot. Have a go at photographing the Museum - whatever takes your eye. You could take cute snaps of our animals, inspiring natural imagery across the site, or find a quirky new angle for one of our buildings. Your image could even win a prize. Ask at reception for more information.
Please note, this activity is self-led and adult supervision is required. Normal Museum admission prices apply or visit for FREE with your valid annual pass. All tickets provide unlimited Museum entry for 12 months from date of purchase.
