The Urban Beach has become a fantastic event, held in Knaresborough every August. When the sun is shining it plays host to hundreds of children and parents every day! The atmosphere is magical with live music, face painting and other arts and crafts activities on offer.
Once again, the beach is hosting daytime and evening events as part of Knaresborough feva 2019. Entertainment on offer includes: live music from Swing Commanders, a set from DJ Rory Hoy, music sessions for children with Musicality Kids and Thula Mama, crafting at our Make and Take craft fair, and the March of the Mermaids.
Come and join the Urban Beach Opening Party from 12pm on Sunday 4th August. Entry to the beach is free but we are asking for donations to help us continue our life-changing work for people with disabilities.
Please note: The last day of the beach is Sunday 25th August. It will only be open 2pm – 10pm, for our ticketed closing party event - Mods on the Beach. Tickets available now via EventBrite.
Full beach timetable will be available soon, please check the Henshaws website.
