Want to learn a charm against evil? Come along to find out about local beliefs and literary interpretations of witchcraft. See examples of legal texts dealing with magic and those who practise it.
Our modern understanding of magic and witchcraft began in Europe in the late 15th century. Our objects, texts and manuscripts will tell you a story of the lives affected by what people called witchcraft.
This Tuesday Treasure is supported by Dr Catherine Batt and Kaan Gordon as part of the School of English Narratives of Witchcraft and Magic module.
Everyone is welcome.
