The community Christmas spirit will be shining bright again in Northallerton with 53 trees decorated and lit-up for a special festival.
Schools, charities, businesses and youth groups have come together for the second year running to display their individual trees at the town’s All Saints Church.
The free Christmas Tree Festival, back by popular demand, also includes a variety of festive stalls, refreshments and music from the nationally acclaimed Military Wives Choir. Organiser Harry Dyke said: “It is all about bringing the community together at Christmas and showing that the church is much more than just a building at the end of a street. Everyone is welcome. Last year we had 3000 people through the doors and it was a wonderful weekend. The sight of all the trees is certainly a colourful spectacle.
