Otley Victorian Fayre has been running for many years. This is now a truly family day out with upwards of 17,000 people attending this fabulous, free event. On the pedestrianized streets you will see a wide variety of stalls offering gifts, food and the chance to help local charities and good causes. The indoor areas in The Black Horse Stable Yard and The Old Grammar School sell only hand crafted items. Don't miss the donkey rides and their greatest attraction, Santa's reindeer!
The first Fayre was held in 1985 and was an immediate success. Within a couple of years the Chamber of Trade realised that it had become too large for them to continue running and so a new, volunteer committee, was set up.
Over the years the volunteer committee members have come and gone. All have worked tirelessly to ensure that the Fayre stays true to the aims that were set down by its founders.
Three year’s ago the organisation of the Fayre was passed to Otley Town Partnership.
Otley Town Partnership (OTP) is a voluntary organisation, led by a Board of Directors, which undertakes a broad range of community based activities to promote Otley for the benefit of the town.
