Visit Ripon Cathedral this summer to see thousands of angels taking flight into the cathedral's nave, each one representing a prayer left during the COVID pandemic.
The A Wing and A Prayer exhibition will be available to view through August to October half term during opening hours.
Opening hours are 8.30 am-6 pm from Monday to Saturday and 8 am-5 pm on Sundays.
All of our 10,000 origami angels were handmade by over 100 volunteers across the region from the ages of 3 - 90 in households, schools and care homes during the Covid-19 lockdown.
The fundraising exhibition is raising money for both the ministry of Ripon Cathedral and the vital work of The Yorkshire Air Ambulance. If you would like to donate, you can donate online at https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/12976#!/DonationDetails or you can donate within the cathedral at our donation boxes.
