Don’t miss the regular weekend entertainment, supported by Yorkshire Coast BID, that will bring the streets of Scarborough to life in the run up to the big day.
Things kick off at 10am each Saturday and Sunday every weekend on the run up to Christmas in December with Paddy and This is the Coast Radio taking to the Stage at the top of Westborough pedestrian area. Each visit to our town centre will be made all the more fun with The Stage welcoming many guests from music to magicians and whilst our street entertainers will be delighting our shoppers outside, the Brunswick will house giant snowballs, playful activities and storytelling for some indoor fun too!
The Christmas market will also be running in the town centre featuring a number of stalls from traders selling food, gifts and other goodies.

This is the Coast Radio on The Stage with Paddy, Darren Letham, Mike Nicholson & Tom Hooper welcoming guests including musicians Tom Davenport, Philip Bull, Annie & King, Elizabeth-Ann Bull, Elvis - Tony Skingle, Luke Barker, Primary School Choirs, Wellbeing Choir & Scalby Songbirds & Twilight Elf Choir. Also on the stage Magic Mike, Sci-fi Scarborough, MESH Ballet, Circus Sensible and we may even have a visit from Father Christmas!
The Brunswick will welcome you for some undercover festive fun with the Snow Ball Exploraboratory, Playful Anywhere, Mud Pie Arts, Circus Sensible – workshops and performances along with a festive selection of family crafts, activities and storytelling.

Ghost Caribou - Thingumajig - Theatre’s new night-time street act, giant illuminated creatures, part caribou, part spirit, roam a mystical world after dark, accompanied by a wild herdsperson.
The Bubble Man - Tons of bubbling fun for all the family with the Bubble Man! Our expert bubbleologist is sure to put a smile on your face, with his giant bubbles and swirling clouds of billions of bubbles.
Back Chat Brass - Rooted in pop, funk and hip hop, our brassy beats 1 band. 8 instruments and Infinite fun!
Circus Sensible - Juggling with balls and scarves, plate spinning, Chinese diabolo, devil-stick, poi, Chinese ribbons, hula hoop and much more!
The Salvation Army - Further down the town centre outside M&S you can enjoy the traditional sounds of this much loved brass band.
