Description

PLEASE NOTE:

Please check websites of all organisations or businesses before you visit. With the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, many businesses are changing their opening hours.

Every summer, Goldsmiths North brings the finest contemporary silverware and jewellery to the heart of Sheffield for one weekend only, in association with the Sheffield Assay Office and the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in the City of London. Visitors to the Fair will have the opportunity to meet and buy from 70 independent makers from all over the UK and beyond.

Our exhibitors are all independent makers at the top of their game and represent some of the best, most interesting and highest quality work being made in the industry today.

At Goldsmiths North you’ll find a broad range of precious metal and jewellery-making disciplines; from traditional silversmithing and stone setting to those craftsmen who use the newest advances in technological tools. Expect to find one-of-a-kind treasures at every price range from handmade silver stud earrings for under £100 to gorgeous, intricate, gemset jewellery and modern design classics selling for up to £100,000.

This will be your chance to enjoy a shopping experience that isn’t available on the high street – a chance to engage with and buy direct from the makers themselves.

The Goldsmiths North Café will be open for the duration of the Fair – perfect for a bite to eat while you make your mind up about that special purchase. If you’re feeling lucky, why not enter our North Star Competition, which we’ll be running for the duration of the Fair.

The Cutlers’ Hall is a magnificent venue steeped in history and grandeur and is regarded as the finest livery hall in the North of England. It is located in the City Centre with easy access from the central train station and city tram systems.

Only a short car journey away from the famous Chatsworth estate and beautiful landscapes of the Peak District, Goldsmiths North is the perfect excuse for an indulgent weekend away, taking in the best that town and country have to offer.
