Overview & description
The course is led by renowned landscape and fine art photographer, John Potter B.Ed. (HONS) L.R.P.S. He will give you a grounding in the principles of digital photography and help you create imaginative, high quality floral photographs in a variety of settings, both table top arrangements and outside in the garden.
Some time will be allocated to using Photoshop Elements and Adobe Photoshop CC to edit and enhance your photographs to transform them from snapshots into exhibition quality images.
Please bring your own digital camera (SLR preferred but bridge cameras also will be fine) plus the camera manual, if you have it. Ensure your memory card is empty and the camera battery is fully charged. Bring your tripod if you have one and any additional equipment such as filters, lens hoods etc.
Please note: simple small point and shoot digital cameras with few controls are not suitable for this course.
The course cost includes entrance to the garden, accompanying hand outs and coffee and biscuits. Please bring a packed lunch
Places are limited to 6 people, so early booking is recommended.
