Families can learn about how the railways have changed during the Queen’s 70-year reign with hands-on activities everyone can enjoy.
Head to the Royal Railway Activity Zone in Station Hall to make flags and bunting, test your maths skills in Pixel Puzzles and help create a royal railway track.
Get moving with the family-friendly Flux Education Theatre on 1, 4 and 5 June in Station Hall. Solve problems and have fun with interactive coded dances with a Platinum Jubilee twist.

ROYALS ON RAILS EXHIBITION
Visit our new exhibition exploring the British royals’ relationship with the railways, a setting that inspired art, design, and innovation in royal travel. The exhibition features unique objects from our collection and a specially filmed episode of Curator with a Camera to tell the story of Royals on Rails.
SEE THE ROYAL CARRIAGES UP CLOSE
A beautiful selection of royal carriages is on display in Station Hall. Admire their exquisite exterior detailing and peer through the windows to see the luxurious rooms in which royal duties were conducted.
