A 15th Century country pub set in the charming village of Ledston within striking distance of Castleford. Chef Patron Peter Higginson is a passionate chef bringing flair to your table. The décor is delightful and cosy as you could wish for in pub retaining true character with beautiful flagstone floors, exposed stone walls with a stylish, modern twist and roaring open fires simply add to the atmosphere. With 4 separate dining zones we can accommodate approximately 50 guests in total, private dining for small parties has become very popular with additional tables available in the bar area and large outside area for drinks and dining Al Fresco. Efficient service always with a smile await our guests even the 4 legged ones as dogs are welcome in our bar and outside area’s.
As all our dishes are prepared fresh we are able to accommodate guests that require allergen free food, vegetarian and vegan choices and smaller portions for young ones.
Our lunch menu is served Tuesday-Saturday noon-6pm with a more substantial set menu running noon-3pm then again 6-9pm or if you prefer our A la Carte menu this is available 6-9pm. Sunday offers a set 2 or 3 course menu from noon-6pm

We are an accredited Cask Marque pub serving great quality cask ales, craft beers, hand picked fine wines from around the globe alongside Barista coffee’s using beans roasted in North Yorkshire.
