Overview & description
The Headlands Family Restaurant & Cafe Bar is located at Flamborough Head near Bridlington in East Yorkshire on the Yorkshire Heritage Coast. Its owners and staff extend a very warm welcome to all its many visitors throughout the year.
Recently refurbished, Headlands Restaurant offers quality traditional food that represents unbeatable value for money. Favourites such as fish & chips and locally-made steak pie are served along side a wide range of dishes including chicken tikka masala, lasagne and Whitby scampi, as well as offering vegetarian alternatives. And don't miss our famous chips still prepared the traditional way. Please browse through our Food & Drink pages and our selection of sample menus.
Everyone is welcome at Headlands Restaurant, whether they just want a hot drink, perhaps with a homemade Headlands scone or a cold beer sat on the terraces admiring the magnificent coastal views. We are sure to have something for everyone! As well as sightseers and tourists travelling to us by car, we are also very popular with coach parties and school parties are particularly welcome. In addition we are hiker and biker friendly and also welcome well-behaved dogs (on a lead please).
There is so much to see and do in the immediate vicinity, not least some of the most impressive chalk cliffs to be found in the British Isles and spectacular views of the shoreline and the sea. At 400 feet high, the cliffs offer bird watchers, geologists, naturalists and sightseers a stunning spectacle. But please note that the edges are under constant erosion by the sea and the weather, so take great care and avoid the edges.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Headlands Restaurant.
