The company's first ‘ new build' tavern opened in November 2010. A stylish new building, itself located on the site of the former Becketts Arms which was demolished a few years earlier.
The new site gave the company a blank "design canvas ", with the tavern interior comprising of two distinct areas, subtly separated by metal balustrading. The internal area adjacent to the bar and kitchen, has a high ceiling which gives it the feeling of a continental beer hall with vintage plaques and continental beer posters displayed around the high level frieze.
The outer area, which curves & follows the external contour of the building, is carpeted with plentiful seating for drinking and dining.
The tavern is located in the centre of Meanwood Village, approximately one mile East of Headingley .
