Please check websites of all organisations or businesses before you visit. With the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, many businesses are changing their opening hours.
Shepherds Hall at Lealholm is now open again and offers lovely surroundings to relax and enjoy a cup of tea and home baking. The Tea Rooms have been refurbished and include a Craft Gallery where you can browse unique items such as ceramic buttons, British Wool rugs, vintage china, items made from recycled tea bags and lovely baskets. Everything is either British made or Fair Trade and many items cannot be found elsewhere.
We offer home made cakes and scones, afternoon tea on china cake stands and daily specials as well as a varied menu offering light snacks, sandwiches and drinks. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, home baking and food prepared using local produce where possible make this a must to visit.
Lealholm is a traditional village, a popular tourist destination surrounded by beautiful heather moors crossed with miles of footpaths and bridleways. There are plenty of things to see including the stepping stones across the River Esk which are not far from Shepherds Hall.
