The historic Old Bridge Inn and Coffee House, famed for the warmth of its traditional Yorkshire hospitality, sits imposingly by the side of the River Holme in the centre of the small market town of Holmfirth.
Adjacent to the Peak District National Park, the town lies amongst the stunning natural beauty of the Pennine hills with the famous Pennine Way cutting across the adjoining heather-covered moors.
Although surrounded by such natural beauty, the Hotel is only a short drive from the major towns and cities of Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford and Wakefield – making it an ideal venue for a relaxing week or weekend break, an important business meeting or conference.
Holmfirth is renowned as the location for the hugely popular television series Last of the Summer Wine and over the years the Hotel has been delighted to entertain famous members of the cast and production team as guests.
A dog friendly establishment, the Old Bridge Inn allows well behaved dogs (and owners!) in the bar and sun terrace as well as a number of the bedrooms.
The hotel car park is right outside the hotel. You can access it by turning right on to Victoria Street and turning left just before the zebra crossing onto Market Walk (next to Sharlands Butchers). Continue down Market Walk passed the shops and the Picturedrome and you have entered our car park. Alternatively use a SAT NAV, entering HD9 7DA.
