Yorkshire Wildlife Park have released these images of their resident rhinos getting coated in mud to deal with today’s extra-hot temperatures.
Rangers at the South Yorkshire attraction have been filling up the wallow pool and applying mud to the rhinos, named Najuma and Jasper.
The mercury is set to hit 29 degrees Celsius in the Doncaster area today with Yorkshire basking in sunshine, prompting a sunscreen reminder from authorities.
Animals throughout the park had their food delivered frozen or chilled today, to help them deal with the heat:
The burst of hot weather has been great but we always make sure the animals are safe and can cool off when they need to.
