Residents of Hull and the East Riding looking to take the next step in their career are invited to a special recruitment event to explore thousands of job opportunities with Amazon.
The global technology and logistics leader is preparing to open a major new fulfilment centre at Melton West Business Park later this year—and with it comes up to 2,000 new jobs.
Hull City Council’s Employment Hub, in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Amazon, will host a dedicated recruitment event at Hull Central Library (Albion Street) on Tuesday 15 July, running from 10am to 2pm.
Attendees will be able to meet with representatives from Amazon and the Employment Hub to learn more about the roles on offer—primarily warehouse operative positions to start with—and how they can grow and develop within the company.
The event is open to anyone seeking employment, whether you’re returning to work, starting out in your career, or looking for a change. Care leavers and ex-military personnel are particularly encouraged to attend.
