For Yorkshire, with its proud military heritage and deep connections to the armed forces, Remembrance Day holds a special resonance.
This week, Yorkshire will host a range of commemorative events, from moving ceremonies at iconic sites such as the York Minster and the Leeds War Memorial to intimate gatherings in local parishes. Local museums, including the Royal Armouries Leeds, are also conducting memorial events.
