This week’s newsletter is a little later than usual, as we’ve been contacting the first half of the winners from our Advent Calendar competitions, and wanted to make sure they’d been notified before sending this out.
As of now, not all winners drawn have confirmed, so a full list of the winners will be going up on Monday – OR we’ll be re-drawing a prize or two. Check your inboxes!
Happy Valley Premiere
The highlight of this week – indeed it will be an early highlight of 2023 – is the return of Happy Valley. We had a great time at the premiere in Halifax, along with the BBC and the cast and crew. You never know who you will bump into in Nando’s next door to Vue Cinema (we met James Norton there after the premiere)!
We’re embargoed so we cannot give you any spoilers, but Happy Valley Season 3 (the final season 🙁 ) will air on New Year’s Day on BBC, and this first episode is a belter!
One Week out from Christmas
Also this weekend is the last full one before Christmas. Make the most of Christmas events and later opening hours across Yorkshire, before settling down for a peaceful holiday next week.
Let us know what interesting things you’re looking forward to in the next week in Yorkshire, in the comments section, below.
Thank you for the newsletter I enjoyed reading it

Can’t wait, just a shame it’s going to be the last series. At least we can still catch up on the iPlayer👍
