Pro: A little cheaper than the car parks in the surrounding. They provide a parking fee refund when you buy from coop. Con: Limited to a maximum of 4 hours. No idea how the refund works. I end up couldn't get a refund when I leave the car park.
Decent sized and well laid out car park attached to the CO-OP supermarket. They do offer refunds if you are a customer of the shop but it is not as straightforward as you might expect. They do not offer what they call 'partial refunds', so for example you are not able to have £1.50 deducted from a £5 parking tariff- it's all or nothing. So if you park for four hours and want any refund on it at all, you need to spend £40 in the store (which is expensive and poor value as you would expect from a co-op). It's in the small print in the photo I have attached. As it happens the fares are similar or slightly better than other near by car parks in any case so even without a refund it's not bad.
Great parking. Spend £20 at COOP then get a refund for parking 2 hours.
£ 5-00 for four hours is not bad to park in the centre of Whitby it cheaper Filey which is £ 6-80 for the same time it a bargain
Cannot park for 1 day, will charge 12.30 but clicks off at midnight. Long stay better and cheaper
