About St Hilda's Terrace Car Park
Located just a short stroll from the bustling heart of Whitby, St Hilda's Terrace Car Park provides a convenient option for visitors seeking to explore this charming coastal town. With a respectable Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars from over 30 reviews, it's a popular choice for its prime position, making access to Whitby's attractions wonderfully straightforward.
While reviews frequently highlight its exceptionally handy proximity to the town centre, visitors should note that St Hilda's Terrace is a relatively small car park. Its compact nature means spaces can be limited, and some reviewers have pointed out that parking for larger vehicles might be a little challenging. Despite its modest size, its location often makes it a preferred spot for easy access to Whitby's shops, restaurants, and famous abbey.

Very close to the town which is great but its a very small car park, with an area closed off for residents or permit holders only. we arrived at about 2pm on a friday afternoon and it was full, apart from one car that was just leaving... perfect timing as we took his place. parking cost just over £4 for four hrs which i didnt think was to bad for the location. ticket machine was card or cash.. i can imagine though most people wouldnt be so lucky.
Small and well hidden tricky parking for large vehicles
Was no spaces available but for residents they were about ten spaces left but obviously we couldn't use them plus I'm a disabled driver bit no disabled spots available plus you had to pay full price. Have a think about things please.
Easy to find and park in this car park, the prices really could do with being a little cheaper and the option for a few nights stay would be much better so I didn’t have to keep returning each day to renew my ticket
The town is nice and accessible from this car park. Went on new year's day and the ticket machine was covered, so parking was free!
