St Helen’s Church

When you enter the city center of York, you will come across this church. You can take a photo at the door or go inside for free. During holidays, there will even be some street performers playing music at the door, so you can enjoy a nice afternoon here.

The church I was married in, way back in '97: going in through those doors means you can put the hustle and bustle of the city aside for a moment of calm, tranquility and quiet. So glad that people work hard to keep it open to the public. A special place indeed.
