Loved everything. The ambiance is lovely. A gorgeous authentic Indian mural. The portions were very generous. My partner and I couldn't finish them and the price was much lower than either of us anticipated. Thank you.
It's an authentic Indian restaurant run by Indian chefs, not the general Bangladeshi chefs, tried the biryani, naans and mixed grills, had asked it be more spicier, but was still mild as the the taste is more catered to the English palate, Must visit if you want to try the real Indian cuisine, ambience good and staff friendly, some of the dishes are pricey but it's worth it
From the moment that we arrived we felt like royalty. The staff were friendly, On point and excellently timed and the food was simply EPIC! The best authentic Indian/Bangla food to pass our lips! No wonder why the restaurant was so busy with happy customers. We’ve visited far too many Indian restaurants that need to take note! Mumbai you were simply Exceptional!. Side note: The owner was a class act, that balanced making customers feel comfortable, dressing tables, taking orders and to add was easily was the best dressed man in the room! Really lovely to see, such work ethic! You along with your team make Mumbai Lounge a truly memorable experience and we loved every second of it. Thank you ☺️
Delicious food. My chosen dish was very oily/ghee - but once drained off was amazing. Great choice and very reasonably priced. Would go again when in York.
Stumbled upon Mumbai Lounge in York and it felt like a warm hug from home. We tried Chicken Mussala, Butter Chicken, Achari Paneer and Prawns Biryani and didnt regret it. It paired nicely with Peshawari and Garlic Naan. Bonus: the staff were super sweet and adjusted the spice just right for our desi palate. 10/10 would visit again.
