|Former rugby star Joe Marler is bringing his hugely popular podcast to Yorkshire this autumn, with a live date confirmed for York Barbican on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. The nationwide theatre tour, titled Joe Marler Will See You Live, was announced on Monday, 18 May 2026 and will see the former England prop take to stages across the UK for an entertaining evening of comedy, celebrity chats, and audience interaction.

Yorkshire fans will have the chance to see Joe Marler live in York as part of the tour, which comes after the huge success of his podcast and growing entertainment career since retiring from rugby in 2024. Following his appearance on Celebrity Traitors, Marler has become a familiar face beyond the world of sport, attracting millions of listeners and viewers with his unique mix of humour, honesty, and offbeat interviews.
What Yorkshire audiences can expect at the York Barbican show:
Celebrity guest interviews with Joe’s trademark humour
Interactive audience moments and surprise set-pieces
Stories from Joe Marler’s rugby and television career
A blend of comedy, chaos, and more thoughtful conversations
Joining Joe on stage will be comedian and co-host Jake Bhardwaj, whose quick wit and live show experience help keep proceedings running smoothly. Together, the pair promise an evening that captures the spirit of the podcast while adding the energy of a live theatre audience.
The podcast has already become a major success, achieving more than 8 million long-form streams and over 137 million social media views within six months. The live tour looks set to build on that momentum, with York expected to be one of the standout northern dates on the schedule.
Other tour stops include London, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, and Northampton, but the York Barbican performance will be the key date for Yorkshire fans eager to see Joe Marler in person.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Joe Marler said: “Playing Dr Marler every week has been a proper joy, and the reaction since launch has been amazing. I can’t wait to bring all the silliness and the more serious moments of the show into the real world.”
Pre-sale tickets go live on Wednesday, 20 May at 10AM BST, with general sale beginning on Friday, 22 May at 10AM BST.
