It's definitely worth it. As a local that loves this place; if walking's an issue driving there just for a look. It can be a long walk! Check if a race/event day or your visiting a field car park! Parking is usually always possible somewhere; along the straight or next to the stands etc. I'm just another knave forced to live the York mire. As a knave I can say if you need the bog there's usually long grass in wooded areas if you get desperate!!

I was worried about how small it would be, but on visiting there was ample room to roll my apples. I was able to roll 15 apples, largely undisturbed. The trees, though not providing apples themselves, were adequately apple-rolling friendly.

Short walk across to the Knavesmire. Parachuhists or tents blown over from Leeds fest?
