Beautiful place. Stiing outside gives a cool and tranquil feeling with beautiful views of the lovely lawn area or looking over the river. The two rooms in the tower are full of character and charm. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. We only had drinks, so cannot comment on the food, but would definitely recommend the place.

Tower Gardens is a nice little oasis of calm around the famous Cliffords Tower. The gardens are a bit plain to be honest ,it's the views of the great architectural sites such as the obelisk and Cliffords Tower that make it worth the visit,some great photogenic opportunities ,there's bench seating to rest up and enjoy the views,all in all a nice area of York and easy to locate along Tower Street

Lovely to sit by the river Ouse in York. Coffee from Dyls was OK, tho I had it as a takeaway. Dyls itself was jam packed

garden close to the museum and Ouse river. Good place to spend the day with family.
