Brilliant independent theatre staffed by volunteers. Thoroughly worthwhile going and supporting. Great shows. Quirky place.

Such a great venue for creativity. Completely offers something that no other venue in York does and completely compliments all the other venues. I love performing and rehearsing there and the team have done a great job of starting to bring this building up to date. Please support local theatre!

Lovely little theatre.We attended a "Covid Secure" pantomime with our 3 and 5 year old kids. They thoroughly enjoyed it. The audience sit on two sides overlooking or at stage level, which means everyone is in the thick of the action. Each family group is separate by plastic screens, which felt safe. The performance was great and had enough subtle "in jokes" to keep adults entertained.

Absolutely love this venue. A hidden gem in York which offers theatre goers an intimate experience. The setting allows you to really feel part of what is onstage. We loved our recent visit and will be back as soon as we are able!
